We had our first Meet and Greet session with Ms Shirley Harrison, Tunku Putra-HELP’s new Executive Principal, this morning!
Thank you to all parents who attended. On behalf of the Board and the school community, Dr. Gerard Louis welcomed and introduced Ms Shirley, who then said a few words. She talked about how she enjoyed coming back to Kuching since she last visited more than 10 years ago, and her hopes for the young people of TPH. We then answered a few questions asked by our parents, which included what she likes and her advice for students. We found out Ms Shirley loves the spices and flavors of Malaysian food, enjoys living by the river, and her advice to the students of TPH is “don’t be afraid to embark on new adventures and never settle for less!”
For those who were not able to join us today, we will be organising more sessions with Ms Shirley. In the coming months, we will also be sharing interviews we will do with her to enable the school community to get to know her better. Meanwhile, if you have any questions or concerns, you’re most welcome to reach out to us at email@example.com or WhatsApp us at 016-678 0351
