The Role

The school is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Coordinator of Special Educational Needs to act as the SENCO and to coordinate Learning Support across our school (Kindy, International Primary, National Primary, International Secondary, National Secondary, which are all situated on the same campus).

The Role

The role of the Teaching Assistant is to assist in teaching, learning, and classroom administration tasks as guided by the homeroom teacher to achieve and support learning goals.

It is the responsibility of the homeroom teacher/ specialist teacher to plan for the learning of all students. The role of the TA is to support, supplement, and extend the teacher’s influence and impact.

TAs are also required to lead learning and to take responsibility for classes when cover is required or, for example, to enable homeroom teacher PPA (planning, preparation, assessment time).
